Necessary

Cookies that make the site work at all: keeping a session, remembering that you have dismissed a notice. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.

Measurement

We count visits so we know which pages are read. We are interested in totals, not in individuals, and we do not sell what we measure.

Advertising

Where a paid placement is shown, the advertiser may set its own cookie. Those are governed by that company’s policy, not ours.

Controlling them

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking the necessary ones will stop parts of the site working. See also our privacy policy.
